Having the best mini trip to Nashville! I flew down to see a friend from high school who has been a wonderful tour guide. I had my first taste of live country music, authentic southern cuisine, and have caught more Pokemon than I probably should have. If you check out my Instagram in the next couple of days I will try to upload some pictures. Sadly my addiction to Pokemon Go has limited my battery life and I’ve been running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Perhaps I’ll whip up a “What I did in Nashville” post when I get some down time.
Today alone I taught the barista at Tin Cup and the staff at The Frist museum how to play Pokemon. They even featured me on their Twitter and Instagram which was quite fun! I feel like a damn boss, like I could save the world. The game has led me to places I never would have known about if they weren’t Poke Stops, is anyone else just having a blast?! The people I’ve met are such genuinely sweet human beings, it has been emotionally uplifting to say the least.
My outfit is almost all thrifted which I’m super impressed with. I only wore flannel because I thought it was supposed to rain all day. Man were they wrong, I was sweating to death all afternoon. I think the heat is not for me.
