This was a really sad day, because it was the last time I got to spend the day with Anna, who shortly after this brunch moved to Germany. As someone who is currently job hunting it can be difficult to watch your friends have more of their lives together than you do. It’s like everyone is racing to the finish line and when the pistol rang out you stumbled and fell. Being an adult is probably the worst thing to happen to me, but I think with time I’ll make the best of it, just like the multitude of friends and acquaintances who already have.
Brunch is the time to put all the food into your belly, and that’s what I did. I thus opted for harem pants for more food baby room, and a simple crop top, not pictured was my large leather jacket, which if you couldn’t tell there is snow on the ground. I may be from Wisconsin, but I’m not an idiot about to go out in the cold without a jacket. All photos are courtesy of my dear friend Anna.
