So the fun thing about my new job, is that I finally get to wear all of my clothing that I’ve been stock piling for a million years. I absolutely love the greenhouse and hardware store, but I wanted something different and new and this job allows me to do that. I get to challenge myself and stretch my fashion to fit my position while also being true to my style. Every day is an opportunity to take risks and chances and this was one of my greatest successes.
I wanted to wear this top, since it was purchased in Pakistan and I haven’t yet styled it for the blog. I don’t have any denim that fits me, since I’ve put on a lot of weight, so I wanted to wear leggings without looking too casual. The top and the leggings just didn’t feel complete, so I decided to throw on this thrifted dress that I wore as a cape in an earlier look, and it just elevated this look to something completely new. I got so many compliments because it was such a unique way to wear the this embroidered top, which normally would be worn by itself because of the beautiful shape and design. But the sleeves of the dress cut off the sleeve and gave the bottom an extra puffy look to them. I of course finished off the look with my trusty UNIF hat and my new Dr Marten boots. I will definitely be wearing this look again in the future.
