Day 2 was a fucking blast. My goodness. We ran around like fools and saw almost all of the artists who were performing while also shopping through the tents of vendors. Random tip for new Pitchfork goers is that you should talk to vendors. They’re super stoked to be there and want to tell you about new music, poetry, and how they made their jewelry. Vendors have to sit in the booths all day so getting to chat with people at the fest is a nice way to pass the time. Sometimes they’ll even give you a discount.
Anyway this outfit was a smash hit at the fest. Got lots of love, even for photographed by the Chicago Tribune!! I’m hoping it gets published but who knows. This outfit is almost entirely UNIF Clothing, which was a bit weird, but at least I was easy to spot in the crowd. I feel that there wasn’t much need for any accessories because the dress was such a loud piece. I’ve been hoarding this in my closet for months and this was the perfect opportunity to bust it out.
