Sunday in Chicago was a bit chillier, but still lovely. We started the day by eating breakfast outside on the porch in the sunshine. It was nice and warm. We waited for Claire to make her way up and then grabbed ingredients for a picnic lunch by the Chicago Zoo. So if you can’t tell from the photos, my leggings are made to look like suspenders, meaning a piece of my thighs are showing. They’re super outrageous, but I love wearing them ironically because America is a shitshow.
To add to the look Shelby, the Royal Braider from the Renaissance Faire, did a perfect braided crown for me. I’m obsessed, I don’t ever want to take it down. This look was especially fun since it was actually warm enough to wear it. This dress was something I purchased right before it got chilly, and it is a vintage, sheer white dress, and the combination of the leggings and bralette gave it a unique look. Sheer dresses as such a statement because it’s one of the few times where your undergarments are as important as what’s on top.
