This outfit was a total steal! Everything is secondhand and I’m excited for this unique color palette. Gold and bronze tend to be paired with black because it’s easy, but I decided to take the simplicity of the skirt to branch out with blue and purple. The shoes were my main motivation because they’re new from St Vinny’s, they’re the brand Chinese Laundry so they’re super comfortable. Mules are freakin’ great, I’ve been wanting a pair and these are very summer-worthy. The top is Black Milk Clothing, but the artwork is Lora Zombie. if you don’t know this artist, check out her work here. If I could buy all her clothing, I would because her art is so bright and vibrant.
To accessorize I went for some gold and black bangles, gold rings, and silver star earrings. They don’t take away from the drama of the colors, but give a nice touch. I topped the look off with some bright blue lipstick and dark pink eyeshadow to balance out with the pink and blue of my top. Subtle accents of color are essential to every outfit to bring it from drab to fab.
